Hanna Chepets from Nikopol

Good day! My name is Hanna. I am a mother of a little daughter. She recently turned 1 year old. We live in the town of Nikopol, now it is the hottest point of the war in Ukraine. Every day we are bombarded with "hrad" and rockets. All the people are leaving here, and we don't even have money to buy groceries. The company where my husband worked was closed due to constant shelling. My little child and I are forced to sit in the basement every day. I am begging you to help our little family who wants to live.

Yaroslava Dudnyk-Horinets from Kharkiv

We woke up at 4 a.m. to gunshots and explosions. At that time I lived in Kharkiv and was soon to give birth to a child. The war hastened my giving birth. I gave birth faster because of fear. Fortunately, my husband managed to take me to Poltava, where I gave birth to a daughter, now 6 months old, her name is Daniela. My life changed after February 24 forever. We live in constant fear, I cannot live in Kharkiv, I am a forced migrant. Not everyone has been through what we have, and not everyone can sympathize with us. My husband lost his job, I am also unemployed because I have a small child. I do not receive benefits. Humanitarian aid is getting less and less, now it is almost non-existent. The worst thing about war is that they kill children, and you can't do anything to help and protect them. Before the war, I worked as a cashier in a supermarket. My last job is a cashier. I am an accountant by profession. I am not getting any help. There are no funds to take the child to a safer place, I would like to leave the village where I am now. It's getting more and more dangerous here. The nearest villages are occupied, and there is a danger to the village where I live. I was told that there would be an evacuation from the village. We will need to leave, we need funds for this. I need financial help to move. The child needs baby food. I look forward to your help, thank you all!

Due to possible threats to the security of this family, we chose to unpublish the images identifying the family. The family remains under occupation, and truly needs help.   Winter was ahead, while it was summer, it was normal. But soon it will be cold. There is no gas, we don't know how to heat the house. Humanitarian aid does not reach us. russia distributes packages containing 1 kg of sugar and a bottle of oil, but only certain groups of the population receive this assistance. They give such crumbs to people. They promise pensioners UAH 10,000, and children UAH 5,000 per month, but for this, you need to issue a russian passport. Even at gunpoint, I will not issue a russian passport for my children or myself. I was born in Ukraine, my children were also born in Ukraine, and we are citizens of Ukraine. We are nobody in russia. russia does not need my documents, my employment book, or my children. They say: "Wait and everything will be fine, russia is a better country." But no matter what they say, leaving your home and running away to nowhere is scary. But I have to make this choice. I need money to leave. And we almost ran out of money. That's why I'm asking for help. If you have the opportunity to help at least with something, at least for the first time, so that we can rent an apartment in the city of Zaporizhzhya, put our son in school. The middle son has finished school, he needs to enter the university. Everyone is morally depressed, and no one knows how to live.

Due to possible threats to the security of this family, we chose to unpublish the images identifying the family. The family remains under occupation, and truly needs help. Good day! My name is Maryna. Our life was divided into "before February 24" and "after February 24". The scariest thing during this period was that you didn't know if you would wake up in the morning. We thank God for every day. I have 4 children, my eldest daughter is 17 years old, and my son is 6 years old, he was supposed to go to the first grade. The middle son is 5 years old, he went to kindergarten. The youngest son is 1 year old. For half of his life, he lived in the war. The scariest thing is that you don't know how this day will end, you don't know what to feed the children. I do not receive assistance from the state. Humanitarian aid cannot enter the occupied territory. I receive social benefits for my children, but they are delayed. My children do not go to kindergarten and school, the eldest daughter could not finish the 11th grade, and she cannot enter the university. We do not have the financial ability to leave the occupied territory. We believe that everything will be fine and everything will be in Ukraine. We hope for any help. We will be very grateful to you. Thank you for your attention.

Svitlana Kryvenchuk from Kyiv

Hello! I would like to ask for your help, as we had to leave Kyiv on February 24. At first, we were near Kyiv. Then it turned out that the situation in the Kyiv region is even worse than in Kyiv. We left for the west of Ukraine. The road was very difficult, there was shelling on the tracks. Hostomel, Irpin, Bucha... We came under fire. We managed to leave. Volunteers took us out. They helped to leave. I have 2 children. I am pregnant with my third child. My son is 5 years old, he has health problems. He could not breathe on his own. It is better now, but there are nuances: he often gets sick, he cannot be vaccinated, and he is registered in the hospital. We left for the west. My husband joined the territorial defense. He was trained, and now he was taken to war. We returned to Kyiv. But you have to leave again because Kyiv is being bombed again. Being in Kyiv is scary, we live in a high-rise building, and if it catches fire, everything will burn. I will give birth soon. I applied for social benefits but did not receive the money. I don't work, I was taking care of a child who is constantly sick. I'm going to give birth soon, I don't know where it will be. I would be very grateful for your help. I hope for your support. Thank you in advance.

Due to possible threats to the security of this family, we chose to unpublish the images identifying the family. The family remains under occupation, and truly needs help. We are a large family from the Donetsk region. We ask for your help. On February 24, when the war began, shells flew to us. We went down to the basement and stayed there until March 9. There was nothing to eat, we cooked food on fire because electricity, gas, and water had been cut off. It was very difficult for us. The youngest child is 1 year old. It wasn't easy with the child because she needed baby food. Our money is gone. The children were afraid and cried. Now, with the arrival of the self-proclaimed DNR, we are paid 7,000 rubles, which is not enough for us to live with 5 children. Food is expensive. We rent housing, which is also very expensive. We want to move to another city so the children will not hear the shelling. This also requires money. We constantly hear explosions. Children are scared. We want peace. Please help us move to another city.
