Yuliya Bondarchuk from Kherson
Good afternoon, on February 24, the war came to us.
We lived in Antonivka village, when we heard 1 explosion, we did not understand what to do, what to do next….
First of all, we had to stock up on water, food and medicines, there were endless lines in the shops.
There was an air raid alarm, people were panicking. People were sweeping everything they could off the shelves.
We spent the first night in the basement. Fighters and helicopters flew overhead. It was very scary.
The explosions shattered the windows in the stairwells. There were twenty-five of us.
The house was not suitable for shelter, so every time there was an explosion, everything fell on our heads.
Then people came and said that you have to leave, because we are in the area where their troops landed and no one knows what will happen next.
At one o’clock in the afternoon, we gathered the necessary things and left, thinking that we were going to stay for 3 days…
How do I see the future of Ukraine? Without Russian nastiness on our land!
