Yuliya from Kherson
Due to possible threats to the security of this family, we chose to unpublish the images identifying the family. The family remains under occupation, and truly needs help.
Good day. My name is Yuliya. I have three children. The eldest son Kyrylo is 8 years old. My daughter Sabrina is 5 years old. Maksym is almost 2 years old. We are from Kherson. Kherson is now occupied. It is very scary what will happen next. It hurts so much that this is happening. I was born and raised in Kherson. This is my hometown. Until February 24, everything was fine, my family was happy. On February 23, I was choosing a photo for my daughter’s graduation album. But this did not happen, because on the morning of the 24th everyone woke up from the explosions. It was very scary. At first, we did not understand that this wasn’t what we hoped for: a military exercise. But, unfortunately, this is not the case. A real war has been going on for months. I want our city to remain part of Ukraine. I do not want to live in Russia. I want a good future for my children so that they can get an education and live normally.
