We are immigrants from the Zaporizhzhia region. The full-scale invasion of Ukraine began on February 24, and the russians entered our settlement on February 26. They occupied us. Before that, I worked as a saleswoman. With the start of a full-scale war, I lost my job. We had to leave the apartment we were renting because the owners wanted to get rent and we didn’t have the money to pay. We have 2 children. The youngest child has diabetes. There was no help. We lived in the occupation for 1.5 months. It was awful. The child was without insulin for three days. We didn’t know what to do. When the first evacuation took place on April 8, we took a bus to Zaporizhia and then to the Lviv region. We lived there at school. Now we are in the Kyiv region. Here we live in rented accommodation, but the owners do not yet pay for housing. A child with diabetes needs medication. I hope that there will be peace, that the russians will be expelled and we will return to our lives. Our house is destroyed. We have nowhere to go back.
