Hello, my name is Yevheniya.  I am a mother of four, and it so happened that I am raising them by myself. My girls are 10, 8 and 2 years old, and my son is 6. This is the second time my family is experiencing war. In 2014 my eldest daughters witnessed the war together with me, and we had to leave the town of Toretsk for Slovyansk, Donetsk region, where my eldest daughter was undergoing psychological rehabilitation. We barely recovered, then I had two more children. This year, the war took us all by surprise again, and in May we decided to move to the small town of Soledar, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region, from Slovyansk. However, after a week of living there, more trouble awaited us: on May 16, 2022 at 06:19 am, in the yard of the building where we rented an apartment, a shell flew, there was cluster shelling, and the windows and doors were shattered, pieces of glass flying around everywhere.

We barely survived, and on the same day we went back to Slovyansk. We now live in the house we had rented before. The town has no water or gas, and power and signal outages are constant. We have to cook on the street on a fire, but there are no more branches or firewood. The city is restless, there is shelling every day, and we often hide in the basement under the sound of sirens. Sometimes it gets really scary. Social benefits are being delayed, there is nowhere to work even part-time, unfortunately.

Humanitarian aid is a painful topic for me, and for many in town. If it comes, they give it out to 70+ year olds, and to people with limited mobility. Having a large family, I begged, we were given two packages (2 kg of peas for planting, two stews, a can of musty pate, a package of milk powder, 1 kg of flour, and bread that was starting to get moldy), but we are grateful for this, too. Thankfully, there is a girl who lives on the same street with us, and sometimes she gives us diapers, baby food, and some products on behalf of the church. Other than that, everyone is trying to survive on their own.

Please help me and my children. We need funds for food, hygiene products, diapers, wet wipes, washing powder, cold medicines, sedatives, and if possible an electric oven or multicooker, so that we can cook at home. I will make a report for every penny, I am begging you for help. Wishing peace and peaceful skies to all of us.
