Good day! My name is Yelyzaveta. I am from Mariupol. My husband is at war. I have 2 children, I have a sister, who is 17 years old. We fled from Mariupol on March 20. It was very difficult to get out of there, on the way we saw a lot of dead people. I don’t even know what to tell you.
On March 12, I wanted to get to my residential neighborhood in the town. But there were very strong battles. My sister and I were shelled. We were thrown back by the blast wave. There was a man, his head was torn off. It happened before our eyes. Now I am 23, I took my sister under my care. Our father is a citizen of russia. Mother remained in the occupation. Our town just does not exist. Now we are trying to live anew. I am waiting for my husband, the children have not seen him for a long time. I sent my sister to study in Ivano-Frankivsk, I am here with 2 children. It is very difficult for us. I will never forget what it was like. We killed our cat because there was absolutely nothing to eat. It was a little easier for those who were in the center. We had one store in the district, it was robbed first. There was no food. Our grandmother supports russia, she did not share food with us. I was constantly looking for food. My mother is deaf and mute.
