Join Us We Need Your Help
We woke up at 4 a.m. to gunshots and explosions. At that time I lived in Kharkiv and was soon to give birth to a child. The war hastened my giving birth. I gave birth faster because of fear. Fortunately, my husband managed to take me to Poltava, where I gave birth to a daughter, now 6 months old, her name is Daniela. My life changed after February 24 forever. We live in constant fear, I cannot live in Kharkiv, I am a forced migrant. Not everyone has been through what we have, and not everyone can sympathize with us. My husband lost his job, I am also unemployed because I have a small child. I do not receive benefits. Humanitarian aid is getting less and less, now it is almost non-existent. The worst thing about war is that they kill children, and you can’t do anything to help and protect them. Before the war, I worked as a cashier in a supermarket. My last job is a cashier. I am an accountant by profession. I am not getting any help. There are no funds to take the child to a safer place, I would like to leave the village where I am now. It’s getting more and more dangerous here. The nearest villages are occupied, and there is a danger to the village where I live. I was told that there would be an evacuation from the village. We will need to leave, we need funds for this. I need financial help to move. The child needs baby food. I look forward to your help, thank you all!
