Viktoriya Bulat from Mykolayiv
Join Us We Need Your Help
When the war started, we were in the city of Mykolayiv and woke up at 5:30 in the morning from loud explosions. Our life changed a lot after February 24, we lost our home. My husband lost his job, he worked for a company from Kherson. On March 6, we went to a village in the Mykolayiv region. On March 9, we found ourselves under occupation. Before the war, I was on maternity leave, my husband worked as an electrician. When we were under occupation, we did not receive any help. My son is now afraid of any sharp sounds. My son is now 1 year and 9 months old, and my son’s name is Artem. We receive state benefits of UAH 860 per month. We received no help from UNICEF, the Red Cross, or any other charity. Now we live in the village with relatives, we only pay utility bills, but utilities are very expensive now. Our biggest problem right now is money. Due to the situation, we got into loans very much.
I see the future of Ukraine only as our victory.
