My name is Viktoriya Lukina. On the morning of February 24, my husband and I woke up to get ready for work. Relatives and friends started calling us, everyone said that the war had started. We stayed at home. Before the war, I worked as an engineer in a regional energy supply company. After the 24th, we hid in the corridor of our apartment, which is on the 5th floor of a 9-story building. We were there almost all the time during the explosions. We also slept on the floor in the corridor at night. I have a 12-year-old daughter, Mariya, and a 5-year-old son, Oleksandr. We were in Lysychansk for almost a month, at the end of March, I left there with my children. We arrived by bus. Then we were transferred to an evacuation train. We arrived in the city of Khmelnytskyi. A husband remained in Lysychansk, there has been no contact with him for a month. We rent housing in Khmelnytskyi. At first, we couldn’t find an apartment because everything was very expensive. We lived with an acquaintance. We are currently renting an apartment. We received payments from the state only once in 4 months. Several times we received food from the Red Cross. We need help to pay rent, as well as food and clothing. We are very afraid and worried for the relatives who remained in the city of Lysychansk.
