Tetyana Saltyk from Sumy
Good day! We are a family from the city of Sumy. I am a mother of 2 children. I want to tell you my war story. The war caught us on the morning of February 24. We heard explosions. Everything was shaking. People ran. No one knew what to do. They started to buy everything in pharmacies and stores. Then the shops closed, and neither pharmacies nor shops were open for several days. Then everything started working until 2:00 p.m. In winter, people stood in line with their children to buy food. My husband and I were fired from our jobs. I have been officially unemployed since February 24. We did not receive help from other organizations. We also did not receive humanitarian aid. We wanted to get the status of a low-income family, but we were refused. I recently registered with the employment center, but we have not received any payments yet. After the rocket attack, the walls of our house were damaged. When it rains, water runs down the walls and the house is damp. We contacted the utility, but they refused service because we owed them money. Therefore, we are turning to you for help. If you can help, please help. We will be very grateful.
