Tetyana Arion from Odesa
Hello! My name is Tetyana. We have 3 children. Artem is 8 y.o., Sasha is 6 y.o., and Oleh is 1 y.o. We live in the Odesa region. Before the war, we lived in the city of Odesa. My husband worked as a builder. Everything was fine. But when the russians started bombing Odesa on February 24 at 5 am, my family and I packed our things and left for our native village of Suvorov in the Odesa region. After that, a black streak came into our family. We have lost our source of income. I am currently on maternity leave. I receive social benefits of UAH 2,960. These funds are not enough for the whole family. When we heard the first explosion, we got scared and realized that war had started. A few minutes later there were several more explosions. When we heard the explosions, we woke up the children. At first, they did not understand what was happening, I explained to them that we were going to my grandmother in the village. On the way, I told them everything as it is. During every siren in the village, the children are afraid and ask me to go to the shelter immediately. I do not receive state benefits. I applied for aid from UNICEF, but I did not receive the funds. I do not apply for help from the Red Cross, because I do not fit their criteria. Now we live in the village, this is free housing. It is also dangerous in the village, there is a railway nearby. There was already an attempt to bomb this place. A few days ago, I saw a rocket at night, but fortunately, the armed forces of Ukraine destroyed this rocket. We saw the rocket fall. It is very terrible. We understand that it is also dangerous here, we want to leave Ukraine, but we have no funds. That’s why I’m asking for your help. Regardless of everything that is happening, we believe in the defenders of Ukraine and I am sure that we will win soon. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to heroes!
