Tetyana Horbunova from Kostyantynivka
Good day! My name is Tetyana Horbunova. I am from the town of Kostyantynivka, the Donetsk region. I have 3 children. Children are 4, 6, and 10 years old. With the beginning of the war, it was very scary, there were many explosions. They destroy everything. They are not afraid of anyone. The siren sounds constantly. Children are afraid of sirens and explosions. Kindergartens and schools are closed. There is no food in the shops, supermarkets are closed. Food prices have risen 2-3 times. Currently, there is no gas or electricity in the Donetsk region. People cook food on fire. A lot of injured people. We decided to leave for a safer place. We moved to the Khmelnytskyi region. We rent housing and pay for utilities. Funds are needed for this. Children need to treat, they need clothes and shoes. I receive social benefits. Housing is expensive, utilities are too. Everyone is at home, so it is necessary to prepare food for the children. I received help from the Red Cross last month, I also received help from UNICEF. Very difficult times. We want to believe that Ukraine will win, that all our cities, towns, and villages will return to Ukraine, and that all of Ukraine will prosper as before. People will be happy. I hope that there will be work. Before the war, I worked as a social worker. I helped elderly people. I don’t have a job at the moment.
