Good day! My name is Tetyana. I am from Kherson. My life changed a lot with the start of the full-scale war on February 24. At first, we lived in the basement of our friends, because we do not have our basement. We lived in the basement for a month – me, my 2 children, and my mother. My mother stayed in Kherson, she did not want to leave her home, which she and my father earned through their work.
I have 2 small children. I fed the younger one with breast milk, but with the beginning of the war, breast milk disappeared and I switched her to baby food. Baby food is very expensive in Kherson. My funds were running out. I worked as a rehabilitator and massage therapist, I had some savings, but they started to run out and I had to leave for the territory controlled by Ukraine so that I could buy baby food and live peacefully without explosions and fear. But that didn’t happen, because when we moved, we faced the problem that renting housing is very expensive. We are currently renting an apartment in the Lviv region. We pay UAH 7,500 + utilities. I receive social assistance. I cannot go to work because my children are small. Grandmothers took care of the children at home, and I could work. This possibility is not available now. I am asking for your help, I will be very grateful.
