Good day! My children and I are immigrants from the Donetsk region, the town of Bakhmut. On February 24, we did not realize that a full-scale war had begun, because our town is located in the front-line territory. We heard the sounds of explosions every day. When the war was announced on TV, of course, we were shocked. At first, we thought about where to run. We left the town. The children didn’t want to go, it was stressful for them, and it was the same for me. Before that, I worked as a builder. We did not receive aid from UNICEF or the Red Cross. We moved to Boryspil. Here we rent housing. There is a catastrophic lack of funds to pay the rent. Or all the money goes to pay the rent, then we don’t have enough money for food. We hope that everything will be fine, that our guys from the Armed Forces will cope and liberate our town, and not only our town but the entire territory. The fighting is going on now. I’m afraid that even if it ends, we will be left without a home, now a large part of the town is destroyed. Everything will be fine. Glory to Ukraine! We believe in ours.
