When the airport in the town of Hostomel was bombed, we were in the town. I worked as a cashier, at the moment I am not working. We left because on the 25th, the russian landing force had already occupied the town. Under the shelling, my husband put me and the children in the car and told us to leave. My fourth son, who is 18 y.o., went to war with my husband. They both defend us. With me are my 14-year-old son Oleh, 12-year-old son Danyyil, and daughter Ilona, who is 10 years old. The worst thing was that we might not have time to leave, many families were shot, even if there were children in the car. This is a horror.
Now we live in a quiet place in a village in an old house, but at least the rockets don’t come here. We calmly go to bed and calmly wake up. It’s scary not to wait for a son from the war. It’s scary not to wait for a husband from the war.
The head of the village council issued assistance to us, we received UAH 2,200 for each family member. Now I am not getting anything. Our son and husband help us with money. We did not issue any other assistance, we will issue it in the future. We have a certificate of resettled people, we lived there in rented housing. I don’t even know what I fear the most. I’m not afraid of anything anymore. I want the war to end so that children and adults do not die. This is a horror that came from russia, we don’t deserve it, they are barbarians that came to us. I fear the deaths of people. Every day someone dies, and Ukraine is covered with missiles. Children die. I want the whole world to stop the war, to close the sky so they can’t drop missiles. This is the worst.
