Svitlana Rudenko from Mykolayiv
Good day! I’m recording a short video for Gate to Ukraine. I will answer a few questions, here they are on my phone. The war came to us in the city of Mykolayiv on February 24 and continues to this day. It all started with the bombing of the airport in our city. My family and children left our city and still unfortunately have not returned. We were in the north of our country for a while, then we went to Poland, where we are still near the city of Poznan. The worst was that morning, the children cried and asked, “Mom, what’s going on?” Before the war, I worked as a psychologist, and now I want to work as a psychologist. I have 2 children. The daughters are 13 and 6 years old. I do not receive state benefits. I did not receive help from UNICEF, the UN, and the Red Cross. What I need most is financial help or a job that I can earn. I see the future of Ukraine as a free country without Russian orcs, whom we will expel from our land.
