My life changed drastically after February 24. I was left without a family, without a home, without a car, without everything familiar to us. At the worst moment at the beginning of the war, there were many of them. First, when people of my age could not cope with what was happening and just jumped out the windows of their apartments, when they had nothing to eat and cooked on fires from their pets, cats, and dogs when my child had nothing to eat and shouted because he was hungry when he slept on two stools in the same basement because there were no other conditions. And the most disgusting thing is to see your house on fire, your apartment, in which you put your soul. Before the war, I worked as a court officer in the district court of Mariupol. My son’s name is Vladimir, he is now 2 years old. I reacted terribly; my son has problems to this day, and he has no speech after the fright. Unfortunately, we turned to many specialists, but no one can help so far. We are now living in the village of my grandmother, she is 91 years old. Most of all we need help with food, clothes for the baby, diapers, and lessons with speech therapists-neuropsychologists to fix all the consequences. I see the future of Ukraine as good, peaceful, and kind. Ukraine should be a rich, developed, modern state. The whole world should hear about this tragedy that we have had for a long time since Russia invaded, the story of every city, every district, every home, and every family. My greatest fear is that this could be repeated anywhere on the globe. No matter where it is, and no matter how many years have passed, it’s very scary, I don’t wish it on anyone.
