Ruslana Druzhynina from Kherson
On the day when the war came to my village, everyone was very panicked. We didn’t know what to do or where to run. My life changed for the worse. It became very difficult for us. Before the war, I did not work anywhere, I was on maternity leave. I moved from the Kherson region, the town of Askaniya-Nova to the city of Kropyvnytskyi. I am not in the occupied territory now. My son is very scared. My children are Oleg, 1 year and 8 months, and my daughter, Alina, is 1 month. I receive social benefits for children of UAH 860. Humanitarian aid from UNICEF and the Red Cross did not reach us. We are currently renting an apartment in the city of Kropyvnytskyi. We need help with food, clothing, and utilities. I see the future of Ukraine without war so that our children do not know about war. The world needs to hear that the war must stop. I want the war to end, I can’t watch the children suffer. I fear losing my children more than anything in the world. During the war, I already lost 3 relatives. I live alone.
