Good evening! We want to tell you our story of war. We are from Kharkiv. On February 24, we woke up to explosions. Everyone was shocked, no one expected it. There were rumors about the full-scale war, but no one wanted to believe it. We started packing. It was difficult to leave the city then. We left for the west of Ukraine. Life changed completely, we lost our home. Our house remained in Kharkiv, we do not know if it is intact. We do not know if we will be able to return home. Children ask me: “When will the russian people stop shooting at us? When will the war end? When will the rockets stop flying? When will we return home?”
I have two children, a son and a daughter, 3 and 5 years old. Children want to return to their kindergarten, home, and bed. We hope that everything ends well for us. We are currently renting an apartment. We see the future of Ukraine in blue and yellow colors, our victory. We are a strong nation, a strong country, and strong people. We are very grateful to our defenders. They protect us, power to them. Thank you for the opportunity to express yourself. We believe in a bright future for Ukraine.
