Hello, I wanted to tell you our story….

At the beginning of the war, in the first days, we left Kharkiv because we live very close to Belgorod and it was very dangerous. We went to Izyusky district, where my husband has a family home. We went with our child, our boy is 9 years old, we went to the village of Dovhenke. We stayed there for a month and a half before the occupation and barely managed to leave before we were captured. It was very scary in those days, we went first to our friends, near Lozova, and then went to Kremenchuk. There we received help and money as internally displaced persons. They gave us a free house, and we lived there until August. And in August, my husband sent me and my child to Germany, and he joined the Armed Forces and joined the ranks of the 79th Air Assault Brigade, so this horror began.

He died on January 16. We buried him in February. It is a very heavy loss for us, our son is young and I am now alone. It was very hard, we returned to Kharkiv because it was very difficult without support in Germany. I couldn’t stop eating and sleeping, and I had to pay attention to my child somehow. We live with my mother. Yura had two houses, but they are completely destroyed, not even rebuildable, so we can’t go there either, everything is mined.

I believe that our guys are dying for our future, for our homeland, for our children, that it’s not in vain!
