Good morning! My name is Olena Lesechko. We are a big family. I have 3 children: Polina is 16 y.o., Mykyta is 14 y.o., and Liza is 8 y.o. We moved from the town of Irpin during hostilities. For us, the war began when we woke up to explosions and shouts coming from everywhere. For a while, we stayed at Irpin and thought it would be over quickly. But, unfortunately, it did not end quickly and one day there were already hostilities on our street. That is why we evacuated the town in March. I do not tell these stories in front of the children, because my children are traumatized, especially my eldest daughter. We went to the evacuation on foot. Some families did not make it to evacuation that day. But we got there, I am grateful to God for that. We left, and 15 minutes later our house came under fire. If we had stayed in it, it is not known whether we would be alive. We were taken out, everything is fine with us now. We are located in the west of Ukraine. Our house needs repair. The older daughter needs treatment because it has affected her psyche a lot. She closed in on herself. She needs medical supervision.
