On the day the war broke out, at 5 am we woke up to the roar of a rocket flying over our house and heading towards the airport. Our life did not change on February 24, it stopped. The worst was when we hid with our children from the bombing, and then, despite the fear and risk of dying, fled from the occupied village. Before the war, I worked as a photographer. We now live in the Lviv region. My children react to the war, like all children – they are afraid and ask how to make sure that the missile does not hit where we live now. I believe that Ukraine will win, that a better future awaits us, and that our children will live in peace. What I fear most is that the war will last a very long time and it will affect our families and the world. I have 3 children: a daughter and two sons Arseniy and Stanislav. The world must hear that every child has been experiencing fear, despair, and pain since February 24, as long as the war continues. There is not a single day when we felt like we did before February 24th.
