Hello! War came into our lives back in 2015. When we found out this year that full-scale war had broken out, we didn’t know what to do. We couldn’t believe it. The children were getting ready for school. We were told to keep the children at home. We were filled with fear and dread that we would have to go through this again. I watched the news all day, even at work at the salon, I always had the news on. My children are 10 and 8 years old, they were very scared when something heavy exploded at night. They asked us to sleep with them. My husband was with our son, I was with our daughter. The son is 8 years old, daughter is 10 years old. Then we hid between the walls of the house, baggage is always ready. There were stocks of everything in the basement so that we could spend the night there if necessary. I received no help from UNICEF or the Red Cross. I only receive social benefits from the state, but they are withholding them. When I will receive these funds – I do not know. Until 2015, we lived in the town of Makiyivka, and before that in the town of Hirnyk, the Donetsk region. Now we live in the town of Kamyanske, Dnipropetrovsk region. We rent housing. We need the funds specifically for housing rent. Here in Kamyanske, the price of renting a house has risen a lot, at least UAH 5,000-8,000 + utilities.
I see the future of Ukraine as a prosperous country. This is our Motherland, we value it and it is unchanging for us. Although I was born in russia, I am Ukrainian at heart, my children are Ukrainian. I want to wish Ukraine prosperity, peace and victory. I am afraid of losing my children, it is the worst thing that can happen to a mother.
