Hello, we are a family from the Sumy region, Velyka Pysarivka, which is right on the border with the orcs.
The war affected us back in 2014, when I lived with my husband and my eldest son, who was 4 years old at the time. Hell broke loose there. I don’t know how we got out of there with the child… Our whole life fit into one bag. All 10 years that I lived there were crammed into one bag.
We came here, our relatives gave us a house, the house was in a terrible condition, of course, no one had lived here for 9 years. We were barely able to live there, we made repairs as best we could. After 10 years, our second son was born, when he was 11 months old, and hell began here. From the first days, there was shock, fear, despair.
I didn’t know what to do, I couldn’t believe that I would go through this again, these explosions and all that. We were sitting in the basement, it was scary to go outside because it was flying back and forth over our heads… For all the time we have been at war, we have gotten used to it a little bit, but we often sit in the cellar because they are shooting at our community and not only at ours along the entire border. People are dying, children are dying.
What I want to say… I want the war to end, I want victory, I want everyone to be alive and healthy, I want us to have enough strength to survive all this!
