Nataliya Bilay from Mariupol
Join Us We Need Your Help
Good afternoon, my name is Nataliya, I am 35 years old. I am a mother of many children. I have three children, the youngest daughter is 3.5 years old. We are from the city of Mariupol. On February 24, 22nd, the war caught us at home, when heavy shelling started and there were air raids near our house. We were forced to leave the city to save our lives and our children’s. The war changed our lives dramatically, I worked with my husband, our children went to school, and attended various clubs. We had a happy life, which was all taken away. We were forced to move. Now we are renting a house and trying to rebuild our lives as soon as we can. Our Ukrainian government is helping us with humanitarian aid, many caring people helped us with clothes, shoes, and food, because we left without anything, only what we were wearing. Now we live in Kyiv. My husband works, but it is not enough because our daughter is young, she is not enrolled in kindergarten because of martial law and there are very few bomb shelters, so we have to stay at home and look after her. My husband’s parents also live with us; his mother is 62 and his grandfather is 91. My husband is the only one who pays the bills and works in our family, so he provides for our family of 5. I really hope that you will help us and everything will be fine. Thank you very much for your help. Glory to Ukraine! Everything will be fine, we will win!
