Hello, before the war we lived with our family in the city of Polohy, Zaporizhzhia region. Our city is still under occupation. It came under occupation on March 3, 2022. My family: me, my husband and two daughters (7 and 12 years old) were in Polohy at that time. The power went out at once, and my children and I lived without electricity and water for 14 days. The city was destroyed! It was very scary! There was shooting, we were running in the basements.
On April 7, my family and I left for Zaporizhzhia. It was very difficult for us to leave, the distance was 100 km, we were driving for almost 8 hours. There were 12 blocks of Russian posts, maybe 14, I don’t remember… It was very scary what they were checking, they were all armed. One car was driving in front of us, they took one guy out of it and took him to a ditch, and his family was sent further. Because they found a tattoo of the coat of arms of Ukraine on his body and found a video on his phone that was not very good for them, which they did not like.
At the moment we live in Zaporizhzhia, rent an apartment and do everything we can to ensure that our children grow up under the peaceful sky of Ukraine!
