February 24 completely changed our lives. On February 24, we decided to leave our city in the Donetsk region for a safer city. It was the village where my husband’s parents live. My father-in-law had cancer. We could not go further because he needed our help. On April 6, we evacuated to the city of Zaporizhzhya. We have 2 children: Diana is 5 years old, and Yaroslav is 1 year old. Our income now is only social benefits for the child and payments to internally displaced persons. From these funds, we pay the rent, as well as buy food and necessities for the children. The last time I received humanitarian aid was in April. I need help, first of all, to buy warm clothes for the children, for the examination of my eldest daughter, she has an abnormality of heart development. I believe that someday it will end and Ukraine will win. I believe in an independent and prosperous Ukraine. The whole world should know what is happening in Ukraine. If the world does not react to this, the war will not only be in Ukraine but will go further. The world must respond to russian aggression in our country. I am most afraid of not returning home because my parents and everything related to my life and the life of my children have remained there.
