On the day when the war began, there was a powerful explosion. An explosion rang out outside our window, we were very scared. Life changed a lot after February 24. The worst thing was when rockets were flying outside the window and shells were exploding. Before the war, I worked as a school cleaner. The child is still very scared and wakes up often. My child is 10 years old, her name is Anastasiya. I did not receive help. I did not receive anything from UNICEF or the Red Cross. Now I rent an apartment in the town of Ochakiv. Renting housing is expensive. I really need financial support to pay for my accommodation. I want the war to end soon. The war took everything from me – my peaceful life and the peaceful life of my child, work, salary, everything I had. We lost everything. I really want Ukraine to win so that we win. It is very difficult to live in this horror and constant fear. My child had a birthday on February 25. My child asked me, “Why don’t I have a present? Why do I hear these scary explosions instead of a present?” I did not know what to answer her. She will remember this day for the rest of her life. My biggest fear is that a rocket will fly into our house or explode near me when I go to the store. There have already been such cases, people were killed on the way to the store.
