Good afternoon. My name is Lidiya. I’m 38 years old. My family and I used to live in Donetsk. In 2014, when the war started, we moved to Severodonetsk. At first, it was hard for us in the new place. In 2014, I gave birth to a child. People helped us with housing. Then my husband got a job, the children went to school and kindergarten. I went to work. Everything was fine. Until the war came to us for the second time on February 24. It was very hard, we had already experienced it in Donetsk, and now we heard explosions again. A shell hit the house next door and destroyed it. Our windows, doors, and balcony were smashed. We were living in the basement until people helped us move to the city of Dnipro. Here we are renting a house. It is very difficult for us, we do not have enough money to live. Children do not have enough gadgets for studying. We left without them. It’s hard, we’ve been displaced twice, and we’ve lost everything. Everything is expensive here in Dnipro, there is no work. There are also explosions here. We don’t have the strength to move all the time. I hope that our soldiers will win and everything will be as it was before. If Ukraine is to be ours, it will be ours. Glory to Ukraine!
