Due to possible threats to the security of this family, we chose to unpublish the images identifying the family. The family remains under occupation, and truly needs help.
Hello! My name is Khrystyna. I am pregnant. I have 5 children. The eldest daughter is 15 years old, her name is Iryna. Danylo is 13 years old. Diana is 12 years old. Nina is 7 years old. Anfisa is 6 years old. When the war started, we couldn’t believe it until the end. We thought that soon the war would end and all this would stop. We were very scared on February 25, when a radio station near us was bombed. My children and I were very scared, we were scared. We had no money and no large reserves of food. Now we have received help from the Red Cross. This month should be the third payment. This allowed us to stock up on flour and groats, as well as meat, oil, and sugar so that we could survive this winter. We ask for your help because we are in a hopeless situation. It is very difficult to leave the Kherson region, I am pregnant, and I am due to give birth on August 21. I see Kherson and Crimea as part of Ukraine. We believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We are waiting for them to release us from the occupation. We hold on. We want our soldiers to free us asap.
Prices in the occupation rose 3-4 times. There is a pharmacy in our village, but the prices are very high. Everything became very expensive. My children and I are holding on. We have a vegetable garden. The neighbor has a cow and dairy products. This is how we have held on until now and are ready to hold on again. We believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, everything will be Ukraine!
