Kateryna Prytula from Mariupol
Hello! My name is Kateryna. I am from Mariupol. Life changed dramatically after February 24. From 3:00 on the afternoon of February 24, we were already sitting in the basement with the children. We live at the entrance to the city. A week later we moved downtown to my sister, it was a little quieter there, but not for long. When we moved in with my sister, a rocket hit the house. After that, we tried to leave the city along the “green corridor”, which did not exist actually. But we were able to leave. As soon as the connection appeared, we learned about the death of a close person. Before the war, I worked as a manager in a bakery, the production was located in the village of Kamyanske, and we had our production. We currently live in Georgia. We do not receive help. We have applied for aid in Georgia, but have not received anything yet. The older child was very frightened, she had a tantrum. The younger child was constantly crying. The eldest daughter Anastasia is 12 years old, and the youngest son Ilya is 7 years old. We do not receive benefits from the state. We did not receive humanitarian aid. We live in rented accommodation. We are now solving the issue of children’s education. We need financial help. I would like to see the future of Ukraine bright, I want to return home. In the 21st century, people want to live in peace.
