Good day! We are from Ukraine! Hello! We are a big family from Kyiv. Tetyana is 7 years old, she finished the first grade, Anastasia is 5 years old, she goes to kindergarten, Zlata is 2 months old, and she was born during the war. On February 24, my husband and I woke up from the explosions, it was scary. We packed up and moved to my mom’s in another area that seemed safer to us at the time. The children were scared. I was pregnant, the pregnancy was difficult, but I had no right to weakness. We went to hide in the basement of the house, it was very dirty and crowded. The children cried, and we prayed. Then we went to hide in the parking lot, but there was also no toilet, water, or seating. We decided to hide in the hallway. It’s time for me to give birth. In the maternity ward, expectant mothers spent the night in the hallway to the sound of explosions. The doctors were as scared as mothers, but all was well. There were a lot of good people around who supported me. Our house was not damaged, but our mental health and financial situation were affected. My husband worked for a lamella company. At the beginning of the war, the leader went to the defense. My husband is currently unemployed. We received social benefits before the war, but since the beginning of the war, I have never received them. Volunteer organizations take care of internally displaced persons, which we are not. We applied to charitable organizations such as UNICEF, but it’s no avail. We live in our own homes, but we need money for food, medicine, and utilities. I am very afraid of losing my loved ones, children, and housing. Children are the future of Ukraine. Get God to protect them!
