When the war came to us, everyone was in a panic. Everyone was afraid for the children, first of all. After February 24, we live in constant fear. The worst thing was when we learned about the war in the morning. Everyone was going to work and school, but then they were told that no one was going anywhere because the war had started. Then there were explosions, rockets flying towards us, and a lot of smoke. It’s scary when houses burn and boys from neighboring houses are buried. Before the war, I worked at a factory, but now I don’t work. Our territory is not occupied, but we are constantly bombarded with rockets. My kids scream and hide under the bed whenever they hear a siren. My children: Adrian 15 years old, Ivan 9 years old, Seraphim 8 years old, and Medea 4 years old. I receive state benefits as a low-income family. I received humanitarian aid once from my factory. Once I asked for help from people to give me food. We live for free, we only pay for utilities. Most of all, help is needed for food and clothing for children. I don’t know what the future of Ukraine will be like. The world needs to hear that children are dying. I am most afraid for my relatives and close people.
