Hello! We are a family from the Kherson region. On February 24, when the war began, we were woken up by explosions in the morning. My husband woke up quickly. I didn’t hear it because I was tired, I have small children. I slept very soundly. My husband woke me up and told me that the war had started. I didn’t believe it at first, I thought it was some kind of joke. It turned out not. The children were very scared. We quickly got up from our beds, I started dressing the children. We hid in a room where all the doors close. There were many explosions. So we lived for 2-3 months in constant fear and occupation. It was very scary to live in our area, we decided to take the children to the territory controlled by Ukraine so that they would be safe. I have a daughter, Aylin, who is 2 years old, and a son who is 4 years old. We left for the city of Dnipro. It’s calm here, it’s Ukraine. The children have experienced severe stress and need the help of a psychologist. The child wakes up at night and cries. These are the consequences of war. We are currently renting an apartment. We pay rent and utilities. We ask for your help. We will be very grateful. The Kherson region is still under occupation. That’s why we’re here. We try to maintain contact with parents through messenger.
