When the war came to my village, the children were very scared. Adults began to think about how to save their documents, children, and families. Everyone was scared. My life changed for the worse. I am raising children alone, I have neither a mother nor a husband. I have 3 children. Everything has changed for us. The scariest thing was when we saw our children crying when the planes and rockets started flying. Before the war, I worked as a salesman. At the beginning of the war, I lost my job. Besides social benefits from the state, I did not receive anything. Everyone was very scared. My children are 9 years old, their names are Darya and Hanna, and the youngest son Vladyslav is 3 years old. I receive social benefits of UAH 1,700 with long delays. I received one-time assistance from UNICEF. We live in a rented house, there is no gas here, we heat with firewood, we bring water from a well. I need money to support my children. I can’t go to work now, the school is closed, and the children are with me. I have no one to leave my children with.
