Hello, my name is Anastasia, I am from Kherson. I have a son named Zakhar who is 6 years old. On February 24, at 10 am, my husband called me and said that the war had started. He told me to gather all the necessary things and documents.
When the orcs had already entered the city, they started shooting at residential areas. Then we went down to the basement, it was very cold, very scary. When we ran out of all the necessary food, we had to go to the stores. There were very long lines at ATMs, gas stations and grocery stores. And the orcs felt at home, driving armored personnel carriers, trucks and tanks. When we met them somewhere in stores, we tried not to look them in the eye.
When they came up with this pseudo-referendum, women with armed men walked around the stairwells and forced people to vote. Unfortunately, they stayed here for the whole occupation.
On January 22 this year, my child and I left for Mykolaiv. We live on the money paid to us by the state. We rent a room in a dormitory, but unfortunately, I can’t find a job now, I have no one to leave my child with. Therefore, we do not have enough money, and we are asking for your help.
The country will be better in the future, of course. We will restore everything, we will rebuild it better than it was! Thank you, Glory to Ukraine!
