Good morning! We are a family of displaced people from the Luhansk region, the town of Kreminna. On the day when the war began, we did not believe it. It was very scary, the earth shook from the explosions. We lived for many days in a shelter without light or food. For 11 days we suffocated from dampness and lack of fresh air. And shells were falling over us. The most terrifying moment was when a mine fell in front of the house. A mine fragment flew into our window and cut off the child’s exit from the room. He is still afraid of loud noises and sometimes has panic attacks. Before the war, I worked as a clothes seller, and my husband worked on the railway. Now we have moved to the city of Poltava, we live in a school. We have 2 sons – Vladyslav is 16 years old and Ruslan is 9 years old. We did not receive aid from UNICEF or the Red Cross. We are in great need of funds to purchase warm clothes. We left without things. The eldest son is graduating from school this year, he needs to enter the university. We dream of renting a separate home, at least a small apartment. We believe that Ukraine will persevere and overcome this grief. The world needs to hear that there is no excuse for the country that attacked us, they destroy our homes, and kill our people, children. They must be not forgiven. Most of all, we are afraid that the war will continue for a long time, and we are also afraid of the ruthlessness of the aggressor. Thanks for your attention, help us get through this.
