Alla Vivian from Kharkiv
Hello everyone. We are family from Kharkiv city. Our city is suffering from russian occupants. I should say that our life changed greatly because when I was living in Kharkiv I was a teacher, I teach English and German language for children and old people. I liked my job, I liked the events in my city. But from February 24 our life changed greatly. I woke up in the morning, it was about 4 am, and I heard some loud bangs, something burning in the window. I should say that we immediately went to the bunker the near school next to my house. And we spend there for 2 weeks. Thanks to the volunteers, we started to look for an opportunity to move. We moved to the west of Ukraine. People helped us, thanks to them. We are living in the house of these people. They give shelter to us. I have 4 children, they are 14 y.o., 8 y.o., 1 y.o. and daughter is 4 y.o. We were scared because we heard the bombs and rockets. I should say that our dream is to see how Ukraine is free and we don’t need to hide in a shelter. Kharkiv and Saltivka, where we lived, are in the bad condition now. We get help only from Ukraine, we don’t get help from UNICEF or the UN. Also, I dream of peace in Ukraine.
