Hello! My family and I are from Mariupol. On March 5, the occupiers fired the first air raid into our yard from the Russian bomber, dropping 2 and then 5 more bombs.
Our yard was destroyed, and we had to leave our apartment to the basement of the next house. We stayed there until March 14, when our house was shot down by Russian tanks. The house burned down completely. In our eyes, all our homes and property burned down, we have only what is left – a few warm things and documents. We could not save any of what we had from the fire.
The children are with me, physically healthy, but mentally in serious condition. They do not sleep well at night, shout and cry, and still have not recovered from the happening in Mariupol. We had to sit in the basement during the bombing. We could not sleep at night, we closed the children’s ears so that they would not hear or be frightened. We still have to reassure the children and explain why we have nothing.
