Maryna Kiryakova from Pokrovsk

Good day! My name is Maryna. When the war started, my child and I were in the maternity hospital. The child was born on February 20. Before the birth of the child, I worked in the rescue service for 6 years. It was most difficult for us to leave the town because our parents stayed in our hometown in the Donetsk region. We arrived in the city of Khmelnytskyi. We need funds to pay rent and the child's food. We received help from UNICEF. We also receive help from the state. We want to go home. We need help. We believe in Ukraine, we believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and we believe that we will return home to our parents.

Kateryna Makarova from Mykhaylivka

Since the beginning of the war, our town has been under occupation. On Feb 25th, the russian army entered my village. Our region was constantly under shelling. We spent a lot of time in the basements. I was pregnant back then. It was very dangerous to stay there, so with the first possibility, we decided to evacuate to Zaporizhzhya. My kid was born in Zaporizhzhya. This city is under constant shelling recently, so we were forced to leave for the Ternopil region. I truly believe that Ukraine will win, and we will be able to come back home. We want that so badly!

Viktoriya Tarnavska from Mykolayiv

Hello. We come from Mykolayiv. Currently, we are staying in Odesa. On Feb 24th, horrible things happened. We saw military aircraft and heard explosions. And it seemed like our life was divided into before and after. I am not working at the moment as I am on maternity leave. I have a son, his name is Artem, and he is almost three years old. I am also pregnant in the seventh month, so we expect our daughter at the end of `Dec. The scariest moment of this war was when a cassette shell got into our house. We were walking in our backyard with my son when it happened. After that, we decided to leave our city. Right now we are renting an apartment in Odesa. I am getting financial help from the government but it's not enough to cover all the expenses. We must purchase clothing and, most importantly, staff for a future newborn baby. The world needs to see that russia is a terrorist state. We want our kids to live happily under a peaceful sky.

Oksana Farion from Dnipro

Good day. My name is Oksana. This is my son Ivan, he is 2 years old. I am an orphan, I grew up in an orphanage. Now I am raising a child alone. We used to have a difficult life, and now it is even more difficult. On February 24, 2022, a full-scale war began in our country. The russian army came to us, and shelling and bombing began. Planes were flying. We sat in cellars without heating for many hours, without food. After 3 rockets landed in our city at 5 am near my house, everything was shaking. I have never heard such explosions. I took the child in my arms and did not know where we should run. After the shelling ended, I decided to leave the city. I lived in Dnipro, now we moved to the Lviv region. I took a few things with me. I was very scared for my child's life. I am asking for your support. The baby needs diapers and clothes, and food. I will be very grateful for your help. I want my long-awaited son to grow up in a free, happy country so that he can enjoy a life that my son will never hear explosions and sirens again. I believe and know that everything will be Ukraine. Ukraine is strong and powerful. We will rebuild it. Thank you.
