Hello, my name is Svitlana. I’m 27 years old. I am from the city Kherson. On the day the war came toour city except for fear of what will happen, how it will be bigger there was nothing. It was very scare. The helicopters were flying scary exploding and it was all at 5 a.m. in the morning, shops are closed, there is nowhere to withdraw money. The scariest moment since the war started was when we moved to my parents’ house Beryslav to his husband parents, the orcs took everything, they walked around. They took people’s food from their homes, took cars, they took money, gold, everything was that and they took it away. After about two weeks, they started taking food from the stores, i.e. meat and bread, they brought us,and after reading about Irpin and Bucha, I was afraid for my child, I could hardly sleep, my child was 3 years old then, almost nothing I didn’t understand, but once he told me Mom, I don’t want booms and I cried a lot when we couldn’t find meat… Now my child is 4 years old and his name is Roman, in 2022, she received assistance fromUnicef and at the end of 2022 received assistance from the Red Cross in the form of a food set blanket and a mattress. Now we live in the city of Ternopil before that we lived in a dormitory for living with a child with allergies, he almost made asthma so we moved to I need help most of all with my treatment because I have back problems that I can’t do my normal work lead a life and to work. I see the future of Ukraine bright without war and that all our military will return to their families and just a free country is free and independent. My biggest fear is that the war will be frozen, just as it was in 2014 and that our cities and regions that are are now under occupation, that they are there and will remain, and it is the IDPs who receive benefits from the state i.e. 3 000 per child 2000 per adult.
