Good day! At 6:00 my sister called and said that the war had started. I didn’t believe her, but my sister said that enemy tanks were already driving near our parents’ house. Also, the sister said to pack things and go to her, because she has a bomb shelter. We quickly packed our things and went to her place. Our life has changed radically. I have many fears. The scariest thing was when planes flew over our city and dropped bombs. We heard all this and we did not know if we would survive and where the bomb would land. I did not work before the war. We do not live in an occupied territory but in a zone of active hostilities. On the first day of the war, my son was very scared and constantly cried. My son is 5 years old, his name is Matviy. We do not receive state benefits. We received humanitarian aid from the Red Cross. Now we are in the city of Poltava, where we rent an apartment. We pay the apartment rent and utilities. Most of all, we need financial help, since no one in the family currently has a job. My husband lost his job. I see our future better than it was before the war, but it depends on each of us. If each of us conscientiously fulfills our duties, our future will be happy. Each of us has our own story, these stories are different. What unites these stories is that we are trying to convey who our enemy is. It is necessary to support (the country) with real actions. Our whole family is most afraid of reliving this horror when we were packing up and didn’t know where to go. We didn’t know if we would survive.
