Olha Tkachenko from Mykolayiv
Good day! War has come to our country, but fortunately, it has not yet come to my home. In our house, the windows, roof, and doors are intact, but we heard the explosions. These were explosions from rockets, and cluster bombs, I don’t know much about this.
We are a large family, living in the city of Mykolaiv. There are 3 daughters in our family: Victoriya is 11 years old, Iryna is 9 years old, and Anastasiya is 7 years old. Because of the war, education was online. Children studied at home on the phone. During the period of the air alarm, classes were suspended. Teachers called and asked to turn off the phone during the air alarm. In March, heavy shelling began at my work, they broke off our labor relations, and everything stopped there. Thanks to the Red Cross, they supported us at first weekly, then once every two weeks, then once a month… Then we received humanitarian aid, there was food. We are very grateful to them for this. We ask you to join us for help. We thank you!
