When my family learned about the full-scale war on February 24, we left the city of Kherson for western Ukraine. We did not know how the hostilities would develop. Now we live in the city of Odesa. Our city Kherson is under occupation. We lived well before the war. I worked as a teacher, my husband worked as a veterinarian, my daughter studied at a medical college, and my second daughter also worked as a school teacher. Events developed very quickly, and the city of Kherson was occupied. Today it is still under occupation. All my relatives stayed there – my mother, who is now seriously ill, my brother and his family, and my mother-in-law, who has cancer. They cannot leave the city. We rent housing in Odesa. The organization in which my husband worked is currently on forced layoff. Therefore, the husband does not receive a salary. My daughter and I do not know how we will continue to work, because the occupiers force teachers to work like a russian school. Of course, I will not agree to work in a russian school. Therefore, we do not know whether we will have work and salary in the future. This war turned his whole life upside down. It is very difficult mentally. We need help.
