Hello everybody! We are a large family from the town of Nizhyn, the Chernihiv region. On February 24, at 4 am, we felt the first blows to our town. From that moment on, we realized that war had come to us. There was a horror that day, everyone was buying groceries, they were nervous, and they didn’t know what to expect. The shops were crowded with people. All the shelves were empty. There was horror at night. In addition to sirens, we heard shots and sounds of “hrad”. You didn’t know whether to go to bed and where to go to sleep – whether it would be a basement or a bomb shelter. Children need to sleep in beds. We were always ready, and always prepared. Things were collected in the corridor. Food, documents, clothes. It is very difficult to gather 4 children. It was winter, children should not freeze or get sick. Pharmacies were empty, there were no necessary medicines. At the moment, everything begins to be forgotten and to remember this horror is very difficult because you want to forget everything like a nightmare. These are my children. Nastya is 15 years old, Yeva is 1 year old, Polina is 5 years old, and Nazar is 11 years old. This is our family.
