Hello! My name is Zhenya. I am 5 years old. Hello! My name is Illya. I am 11 years old. I study in the 5th grade. Hello! My name is Olena. On February 24, at 7 a.m., explosions were heard near our house. We woke up and realized that the war had begun. From that moment on, the horror began in our lives. We were afraid to go to bed until March 15, we were afraid to go outside. On March 15, a rocket hit a neighbor’s house. All the windows in our house flew out and the wall cracked. We had to leave. First, we went to the Kirovohrad region, then to the Ivano-Frankivsk region. That’s where we live now. We rent a house in the village. We do not receive social benefits. Several times we received humanitarian aid in the form of clothes and food. I applied for help to the international organizations UN, UNICEF, and the Red Cross, but no avail. Before the war, I worked at the school. My husband worked too. The husband did not leave the occupied town because he stayed with his parents, who have disabilities. We want to go home, we love it there, and our dogs are waiting for us there. We hope to be able to return home soon, but there is no such opportunity now. We all pray for our fighting boys and girls and victory. It’s scary that our boys and girls are dying and getting injured. It is terrible that children are dying in this war. I want this to end and no one in the world knows what war is anymore.
